We are proud to announce a publication from our very own Qandeel Hussain. Hussain is a postdoctoral fellow here in the department.
Hussain's publication Phonetic correlates of laryngeal and place contrasts of Burushaski focuses on Burushaski, an endangered language spoken in Northern Pakistan. The publication looks at the acoustic correlations of Burushaski's three-way stop laryngeal contrasts across five places of articulation.
