For those who have not heard yet, Sali A. Tagliamonte (Faculty) will be taking a Field trip to Thunder Bay, Ontario! As Tagliamonte and her students head up the north shore of Lake Superior, they will be interviewing locals for a dialect survey and for an accommodation study!
RADIO 1 did a story on Tagliamonte's upcoming trip! In her interview, "A linguist dedicated to the language of Northern Ontarians", she shared more details on the project and got to show off her French-speaking skills. 😉
