Jack Chambers (faculty) is a dialectological legend who has been a professor here for fifty years, but he has long maintained
a second life as a noted scholar of jazz music, and in this capacity is known for several books including a two-volume biography of Miles Davis. Yesterday, in the first of several planned installments, he and host Michael Enright of the CBC's Sunday Edition sat down to launch '
a series called 'Jazz for People Who Don't Like Jazz'. Check it out if you're either into jazz or not into jazz.
